Yellow Slingshot with Felt Balls
The perfect gift for adventurous children or kid-at-heart dads! These slingshot are made by artist Brooke Wade from fallen branches gathered in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. Each one is unique and totally one of a kind. They come with a little bag with fell balls handmade from wool and felt for safe and fun target practice. The slingshots with the yellow latex band are slightly stronger than the red ones and suitable for children of 8Y or older.
These slingshots are meant for target practice for kids of 8Y plus. The red bands are more flexible and better suited to younger slingers. The bands are attached using the "over-the-fork" method, which provides the longest band life, most accurate shot, and is considered the safest construction method for the shooter. Balls are handmade from wool and felt, and measure 2cm in diameter. They come in a small cotton pouch. 10 balls in each bag. Please take care that your children to not use any sharp or hard objects instead of the felt balls.

Brooke is a woodworker and artist based in Gowanus, Brooklyn. A classically trained dancer, she continues to thrive on mind-body labor through woodworking. Brooke draws inspiration from wabi-sabi aesthetics, maps, interiors and spaces, and the sense of place.
